You all know the saying:

Something borrowed, something blue,

And a silver sixpence in her shoe.

I heard the other day that a bride can put "a lucky penny in her shoe" for her wedding day.

Then afterwards she would make it into jewelry to wear for luck .

I think that is so cute.
